Ping’s Story

Looking back on how my pilot journey began, I believe the dream of flying was planted in my heart by God, not by myself. Only God could have made this journey possible.

Growing up, I had never heard of an organisation where you could combine a passion for flying with a desire to serve God and humanity. When I first learned about MAF, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life and career to serving God through aviation and humanitarian work.

I have now completed 10 years of service with Mission Aviation Fellowship, and throughout these years I have grown both personally and professionally. I never imagined that one day I would lead the team as Country Director, but God had a different plan.

After serving five years in Timor-Leste, I transitioned from Line Pilot to Operations Manager, and eventually to Country Director.
